Growing up I was hooked on Denis Leary. Whether he was being pessimistic on a cancer cure, singing about an As*hole, or warning the next generation that there’s not much to look forward to, I always enjoyed his brand of comedy.

While I’ve always steered clear of Rescue Me (it hits that 9/11 nerve which sends me running in th eother direction), it’s always a good time to dip back into the archives and listen to Denis’ best stuff. On “Life’s Gonna Suck When You Grow Up,” Leary warns kids that a boss who will be a big big jerk is right around the corner.
